University of Sunderland ตั้งอยู่ทางตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือของประเทศอังกฤษ ห่างจาก London เพียง 3 ชั่วโมง ห่างจากใจกลางเมือง Newcastle ประมาณ 25 นาที โดยTrain และ Metro(รถไฟ) และห่างจาก Edinburgh เพียง หนึ่งชั่วโมงยี่สิบนาที มหาวิทยาลัยแห่งนี้ เหมาะสำหรับนักศึกษาต้องการเลือกอยู่เมืองที่คนไทยอยู่ไม่มากนัก ซึ่งแต่ละปีจะมีนักเรียนไทยประมาณ เพียง 20 คน และที่สำคัญที่เมือง Sunderland ยังเป็นเมืองสงบเงียบ ติดทะเล อากาศดีสูดลมหายใจได้เต็มปอด เป็นเมืองที่มีค่าครองชีพถูกอันดับต้นๆของประเทศอังกฤษ มีโรงงาน Nissan ที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในสหราชอาณาจักร ซึ่งเป็นสถานที่หลักในการผลิตรถยนต์ยี่ห้อนี้

มหาวิทยาลัย Sunderland มีทั้งหมด 2 วิทยาเขต คือ City Campus และ The Sir Tom Cowie Campus at St Peter’s ซึ่งทั้งสองวิทยาเขตที่ Sunderland นั้นมี Facilities ต่างๆครบครัน มีทุกอย่างที่นักเรียนต้องการ มหาวิทยาลัยก็มีหลักสูตรที่น่าสนใจมากมาย อาทิเช่น MBA หนึ่งในสาขาที่นักเรียนจากทั่วโลกให้ความสนใจ University of Sunderland ถือเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยแรกๆ ที่เปิดสาขาเฉพาะทางเจาะลึกความ MBA นี้ลงไป ไม่ว่าจะเป็นสาขา Marketing, HR, Supply Chain และ Finance
