University of East London (UEL) เป็นมหาวิทยาลัยใหม่ (Public university) ก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อปี ค.ศ.1992  ตั้งอยู่ทางตะวันออกของกรุงลอนดอน มี 3 วิทยาเขต คือ Docklands Campus Stratford Campus และ University Square ทั้งสามวิทยาเขตอยู่ห่างจากใจกลาง Central London เพียง 30 นาทีเท่านั้น วิทยาเขตหลักคือ Stratford Campus อยู่ที่ย่าน Strafford ที่โด่งดัง เนื่องจากเป็นสถานที่จัดการแข่งขันกีฬาโอลิมปิกและพาราลิมปิกในปี 2012 ที่นี่เป็นเมืองที่มีสีสัน มีแหล่งช้อปปิ้งใหญ่ๆ ร้านอาหาร ศูนย์รวมวัฒนธรรม และการเดินทางที่สะดวกสบาย สามารถลงรถไฟใต้ดินสถานี Stratford ที่เชื่อมต่อทั้ง Overground และUnderground สาย Jubilee และ Central หรือสามารถเดินทางด้วยรถประจำทางลงหน้ามหาวิทยาลัยได้เลย  วิทยาเขตนี้เปิดสอนหลักสูตรสาขาวิชาการศึกษาศาสตร์และสังคมศาสตร์ ศูนย์คลีนิกการศึกษาโรคเกี่ยวกับเท้า กายภาพบำบัด และวิทยการทางการกีฬา  วิทยาเขต Docklands เป็นแคมปัสแบบโมเดิร์น เพียบพร้อมด้วยเทคโนโลยีที่ทันสมัย สถาปัตยกรรมที่ได้รับการคัดเลือกให้เป็น Building of the Year มี Lecture Theater ห้องเรียนลักษณะแบบโรงละคร ห้องสัมมนา ห้องสมุดและศูนย์การเรียนรู้ เปิดตลอด 24 ชั่วโมง (Outstanding Library and Learning Centres open 24/7 at Docklands and Stratford) มหาวิทยาลัยทุ่มเทกับการจัดหา Facility ที่ดีพร้อม เหมาะกับการเรียนรู้อย่างเต็มที่ การเดินทางไปมหาวิทยาลัย สะดวกสบายด้วยรถไฟสาย Docklands Railway ลงที่สถานี Cyprus University of East London มีนักเรียนกว่า 28,000 คน จากกว่า 120 ประเทศทั่วโลก นักเรียนที่นี่จะได้พบปะผู้คน แลกเปลี่ยนความรู้ ประสบการณ์ได้หลากหลาย บริเวณมหาวิทยาลัยมีร้านค้า ร้านอาหารให้เลือกมากมาย อย่างเช่นร้าน The Edge ซึ่งตั้งอยู่ในตึก East Building ร้าน Oscars ในตึก West Building ท่ามกลางบรรยากาศที่ทันสมัย สวยงาม และสะดวกสบาย  ร้านหนังสือ และ Student Union Shop ก็เปิดให้บริการกับนักเรีย และมหาวิทยาลัยมีรถฟรีให้บริการระหว่างสามวิทยาเขตนี้ (Free shuttle bus service) อีกด้วย หอพักนักศึกษาตั้งอยู่ริมน้ำ ในบริเวณมหาวิทยาลัยที่สวยงาม น่าอยู่ มีห้องให้เลือกหลายแบบ ทั้งห้อง  En-suite ห้องแชร์ พร้อมสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกครบครัน
